Happy Valentine's Day!

Josh is the most amazing husband and really made the day so special! We went to breakfast at Mimi's Cafe since he had school all evening. He also had to get a cavity filled which was so funny because then for the next hour or so he said everything with a lisp :) He got me the most beautiful flowers I have ever seen, a pink sapphire necklace and two cute mugs for hot chocolate! I am so thankful to have such a sweet hubby!

Grandma's Birthday

Sunday was my Grandma's birthday and we went to Cheddar's and then went back to her house to have cake.

Broncos Game

We went to the Broncos game this weekend with our friends and it was way fun! It just so happened that they were playing the St. Louis Rams and their quarterback is Sam Bradford, who played for Oklahoma!! We cheered for the Broncos but secretly I cheered for Sam :)

Shooting

This past weekend we went up Mt. Herman with Tim, Kamee, Chris, Brittney, and Carson to do some shooting. Josh was in heaven! Carson brought up a bunch of different guns that we were able to try out. It was super fun that day but we both woke up the next day with bruised shoulders.

Vail

This summer my family came out from Kansas and rented a condo in Vail. Josh and I were able to go up and spend the weekend up there. It was a lot of fun to get to see my Aunt and Uncle and my cousins and their kids. We went to a farmers market they were having and got gyros for lunch and they were delicious! Josh even said he would pick them over Chipotle!

A failed attempt to go camping

One weekend we decided to go camping on Mt. Herman with Kyle, Carissa, Jordan, Leslie, and Brennen. It was kind of cloudy that morning but we thought we would give it a try. We all got up there, set up our tents, ate dinner and started to do smores. Thats when the chaos started! It started to pour rain so we jumped in the tents. In a little bit Kyle came and told us that they were all leaving because Jordan and Leslie's tent was leaking and Josh and I decided we would stay. It got dark and we were playing games in the tent when all of the sudden we start to hear animals out by the campfire. So we freaked out and stuffed all our wet camp stuff in the back of the truck and started to head home. Well we got about half way down the mountain when some really thick fog moved in. We pulled over and said a prayer and when we turned the car back on it had cleared up and we made it home. What a night!

Josh's brother, Kyle, got married back in April. The wedding was in the Bountiful Temple in Utah. We had a good time, even though we were only there for like a day.
